To the editor:
Although I no longer live in the Bridgeport area, I cherish great memories of what life was like: it was good! We had a great community with the churches working together, public library, loyal members of the Fire Department, and pride in our schools.
The reason life was good is that we had good people who played important parts in keeping life good. One such person is Dave Miner. He was an active and creative member of our church and its Board of Trustees. He took pride in the schools and in having them in tip top physical shape. Dave cared about the direction of the town and served faithfully and effectively on the Town Board. In terms of character, Dave gave new meaning to integrity. As his pastor for nine years, I never had reason to question the reasons back of his initiatives.
So, I hope the voters continue to trust Dave to do his best for the good of the Town.
