To the Editor:
With the upcoming election, there are several candidates exclaiming their platforms; however, there is one candidate doing more than just talking. This candidate is active in his beliefs and will continue to uphold the beliefs that are supported by the people to help the people. This candidate is Tom Kopp.
Tom is running for re-election to the office of Town Councilman in the upcoming election. He is a very active member of the community, both in the village and in the town. As a town councilman, he also serves as a fire commissioner for the Sullivan Fire Districts. Tom specifically serves the board as the liaison to the three fire companies.
In my position as fire chief, I have worked with him to provide the best in emergency services to our community, while at the same time being ever mindful of the burden placed on our taxpayers.
Having been a life-long resident, family man, and local business owner, Tom has great insight to issues that affect our community, as he is a stockholder himself.
He has worked very diligently to work with business owners, residents, and others to make the Town of Sullivan one of the fastest-growing communities in Central New York and a great place to live.
An important attribute Tom possesses is his availability; often you see him around town cycling, jogging or just swinging a club in his front yard. He always has a welcome smile, an easy-going personality, and is genuinely interested in what you have to say.
On election day, remember Tom Kopp. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Tom. He would love to hear from you and answer your questions.
Sincerely,
Mike Sudol
