Skidmarks will be performing folk and country music at the Madison County Historical Society’s 45th Annual Craft Days on Sunday, September 13th from 1 –3 pm.

Craft Days is organized and hosted by the Madison County Historical Society at 435 Main Street, Oneida. The band is comprised of Frank Cook on banjo; Pat Mercer on mandolin; and Dave Taylor on guitar. They have been performing on and off for over 10 years, taking time off to spend with their families.

Craft Days is a weekend event that starts on Saturday, Sept. 12, 10 am – 5 pm and runs through Sunday, Sept. 13, 10 am- 4pm. Tours of the society’s headquarters, Cottage Lawn, an 1849 Gothic Revival Cottage and demonstrations from craft vendors will be ongoing both days. The Olde Tyme Fiddlers are returning to entertain the crowd on Saturday from 1-3 pm. Face painting by Oneida’ s YMCA will be all day Saturday and storytelling on the grounds provided by the Oneida Library will be on Sunday (1-3 pm).

A free shuttle service will be provided by the society for those that want to park and ride. The shuttle will be leaving every fifteen minutes from our new location this year at the Oneida Shopping Plaza on North Main Street in Oneida to the historical society. Admission is $4 for adults, children 12 and under are free. Purchase a weekend pass for $6 and join us both days!

No animals are permitted on the grounds, and there is no smoking.
