(Oneida – Nov. 17, 2009) The following are agenda items for the Oneida Common Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Building in Council Chambers.

 

PUBLIC HEARINGS

 

  1. City of  Oneida Miscellaneous Utility Billing
  2. City of Oneida 2010 Budget

 

1.         DEPARTMENT REPORTS: Receive and place on file monthly reports from the Chamberlain, City Clerk, Comptroller, Fire Chief, Police Chief, Recreation Department, and Department of Public Works.

 

2.         BUDGET TRANSFERS & BUDGET AMENDMENTS: Authorize a budget transfer from Worker’s Compensation to Postage to transfer of funds for postage meter, and budget transfers and amendments from various recreation accounts to materials and supplies and park beautification.   (Cukierski)

 

3.         LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL: Receive and place on file a liquor license renewal notification from Zabroso LLC, 170 Kenwood Ave., Oneida.  (Pulverenti)

 

4.         PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT:  Authorize the hiring of a part-time, temporary cleaner for the Municipal Building from November 30, 2009 to December 31, 2009 at a rate of $7.40 an hour.  (Bacher) 

 

5.         SURPLUS ITEMS:  Authorize the Purchasing Agent to sell two mowers and a tiller from the Recreation Department on eBay.  (Cukierski)

 

6.                  BOND RESOLUTION: Approve Bond Resolution for the West Sands Street reconstruction ($125,000), sidewalk plow purchase ($110,000), Oneida Justice Center ($575,000), Elizabeth Street demolition ($60,000), North Warner Street demolition ($65,000), and DPW dump truck replacement ($50,000) for a total amount of $985,000. (Cukierski)

 

7.         CANVASS BIDS:  Canvass bids for Capital Project 09-29 – Fire Engine Replacement and authorize the Fire Chief to expend funds in the amount of $442,000.00. (Hudson)

 

8.         CAPITAL PROJECT 08-15: Appropriate funds in the amount of $4,234.64 for Capital Project 08-15 – Recreation Center Paving and authorize Recreation Director to use said funds to finish paving the rear parking lot, and for milling and paving of  the driveway leading to the parking lot at the Recreation Center.  (Lovett)

 

9.         DENTAL PLAN RENEWAL:  Authorize the Mayor to sign the annual dental plan renewal with Excellus Dental Blue Options.  (Margo)
