Andrew J. Klimko, 27, of North Bellinger Street, Herkimer, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony. Klimko allegedly stole $1,700 from AmeriCu Federal Credit Union in Oneida through fraudulent conduct. He is scheduled to appear in Oneida City Court.
Harry T. Williams, 52, of Washington Avenue, Oneida, was issued an appearance ticket returnable Nov. 17 in Oneida City Court to answer a charge of violating the city noise ordinance.
Nov. 3
William L. VanPatten, III, 25, of North Main Street, Oneida, was charged with second-degree assault, a class D felony. According to police, VanPatten allegedly assaulted a 47-year old male, repeatedly punching him the face with a closed fist. Police say the victim suffered three fractures to the jaw, a broken nose, facial fractures, bleeding and loss of consciousness. The victim was transported to SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse where he remains unconscious. VanPatten was arraigned and remanded to Madison County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Oneida City Court Nov. 5.
Elizabeth A. Durr, 42, of Lenox Avenue, Oneida, was issued an appearance ticket returnable Nov. 17 in Oneida City Court to answer a charge of violating the city’s trash ordinance.
Nov. 4
Dustin R. Brown, 21, of Chappell Street, Oneida, was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, following too close and unsafe start. Brown is scheduled to appear in Oneida City Court Nov. 20.
