Kaiser Announces Candidacy

Kaiser Announces Candidacy thumbnail

I’m writing to announce my candidacy for Oneida Common Council in the 4th Ward and to ask the residents of the ward to vote for me on November 3rd.

Except for my absence due to military service from 1969 through 1973, I’ve been a resident of Oneida for all of my life, and a resident of the 4th Ward for about twenty years.

I graduated from Oneida High School and Morrisville College, holding an Associates Degree in Business Administration. I recently retired from the New York State Police, serving as a Communications Specialist for over 27 years.

I’m a retiree member of the Civil Service Employees Association, and a member of both the Madison County Historical Society and American Legion Post 169.

I believe that the City of Oneida must continue to provide essential services to the public while we work hard to promote economic development. It’s critical that we do all that we can to ensure economic growth as we slowly emerge from one of the most serious recessions in our history, and I’m committed to working with all levels of government and our business community to strengthen the local economy and stabilize our tax base.

I will be a responsible caretaker of city taxpayer’s hard earned money.

I also pledge to the residents of the 4th Ward that I’ll support open and responsive city government, safe streets and neighborhoods, and service to constituents. If a resident of the 4th Ward calls with a question or concern, they’ll get a prompt response from me.

It’s very important that all of us vote and meet our civic obligation to make our community a better place. I urge everyone to vote and ask the voters in the 4th Ward in the City of Oneida to vote for me on November 3rd.

Thank you.

Michael J. Kaiser, East Walnut Street
