(Oneida, NY) The following are agenda items of the Oneida Common Council’s regular meeting scheduled for Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers of the Municipal Building.

1.      DEPARTMENT REPORTS:  Receive and place on file monthly reports from the Chamberlain, City Clerk, Comptroller, Fire Chief, Police Chief, Recreation Department, and Department of Public Works.

2.     DESIGNATION OF WATER OPERATOR:  Authorize the Mayor to sign the Designation of Water Operator in Responsible Charge at the Water Treatment Plant. (Smolinski)

3.     SET COUNCIL MEETING:  Schedule the first Council meeting in November for November 2nd at 7:00 p.m., due to the General Election being held on Tuesday.  (Pulverenti)

4.     LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL:  Receive and place on file liquor license renewal notification from Sherrill Kenwood Golf Club, LLC. (Pulverenti)

5.     BUDGET TRANSFERS: Authorize budget transfers from the City Clerk and Recreation Department to the City Clerk.  (Cukierski)

6.     GLENMORE DAM PROJECT: Authorize the Water Superintendent to prepare and submit a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Pre-Application form for improvements to the Glenmore Dam.  (Smolinski)

7.     HYDRANT AGREEMENT:  Authorize the Mayor to sign the 2010-2014 New Beginnings Free Methodist Church Hydrant Agreement.  (Smolinski)

8.     CHEMICAL BIDS:  Authorize the Purchasing Agent to advertise for bids for various chemicals used by the Water Department for water treatment purposes. (Smolinski)

9.     CAPITAL PROJECT 09-44:  Authorize the Purchasing Agent to advertise for bids for Capital Project 09-44 – Digester Mixing Upgrade.  (Bacher)

10.   CANVASS BIDS:  Canvass bids for Capital Project 09-49 – Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen Determination System Procurement and authorize the City Engineer to expend Sewer Funds in the amount of $20,270.30.  (Bacher)

11.    CAPITAL BUDGET AMENDMENT:  Authorize a Capital Budget Amendment from Miscellaneous Sale of Scrap to N. Warner Building Demolition in the amount of $13,523.80, and authorize the City Engineer to expend said funds.  (Cukierski)

12.    ADOPT WILLOW TREE TERRACE DEDICATION ORDINANCE:  Adopt the Ordinance Dedication of the road known as Willow Tree Terrace in the Willow Wood Meadows Subdivision, PHASE III. 

13.    AUTHORIZE LIEN AND SUIT TO RECOVER EXPENSES:   To recover all costs and expenses with the remediation of the unsafe conditions at 106 N. Warner Street.

14.   AUTHORIZE LIEN AND SUIT TO RECOVER EXPENSES:   To recover all costs and expenses with the remediation of the unsafe conditions at 456 Elizabeth Street.
