The Morrisville State College women’s basketball team staged a second half comeback, but fell short as SUNY Oswego recorded the 65-54 non-conference victory Friday night Nov. 20 in Oswego.
Bette Davis (Bronx, NY) led Morrisville State with 19 points adding three assists to her tallies. Thelma Picardo (Queens, NY) added 15, hitting 3-for-4 from beyond the arc, while grabbing seven rebounds.
Tekesha Hanson (Queens, NY) netted 13, including going 8-for-8 from the free throw line, while leading Morrisville State on the boards, snaring eight.
Kayla Ryan led Oswego with 15 points, adding seven rebounds in the win.
Oswego led 33-19 at the half.
Morrisville State returns to the court Nov. 21, playing Roberts Wesleyan at 6 p.m. in Oswego.
