MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Visiting 14th nationally ranked SUNY Cortland wrestling won 9-of-10 matches to hand host Morrisville State College a 45-6 loss in the John W. Stewart Center for Student Activities Gymnasium in Morrisville Wednesday night.
Morrisville State’s lone points of the match came from a forfeit victory to Brian Latham (East Greenbush, NY) in the 141 pound weight class.
Cortland, who remained undefeated at 5-0 with the dual match win, posted five pins in nine weight classes in the match, Stephen Perez (Bronx, NY) in the 149 pound weight class, Kevin Sackett (Webster, NY) at 157, Mike Ciaburri (Palmyra, NY) at 174, Carl Korpi (Miller Place, NY) at 197 and Joe Murphy (St. James, NY) at 285.
