The Madison County Board of Elections Commissioners Lynne M. Jones and Laura P. Costello issued notice pursuant to the Statutes of this State that at the General Election to be held in this State on the Tuesday succeeding the First Monday in November (November 3, 2009) the following may be lawfully voted for, to wit:
Representative in Congress – 23rd Congressional District
Madison County Clerk
Madison County Sheriff
City of Oneida: Mayor, City Chamberlain, two Supervisors for Wards 1-2-3, two Supervisors for Wards 4-5-6, one Councilmember Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
Also, in each Town, the following may be voted for: Supervisor, except in the Towns of Lincoln and Sullivan; Town Clerks, except the Town of Sullivan; Highway Superintendent, except the Town of Sullivan; Town Justice will be voted on in the following Towns: Brookfield, Cazenovia, DeRuyter, Hamilton, Lebanon, Madison, Nelson and Sullivan (2). Town Council (2).
In the Town of Madison, Town Council – 2 year vacancy will be voted on.
In the town of Fenner only, there will be voting for Tax Collector.
Two statewide ballot proposals.
In the Town of Brookfield, one local ballot proposal.
In the Town of Madison, two local ballot proposals.
