To the Editor:
I have known Ken Kunkel for a number of years. I’ve worked with him on the local Republican committee where I have witnessed his desire and willingness to guide candidates in their pursuit of public offices.
As town clerk I have also worked with Ken as he voluntarily serves his community as chairman of DeRuyter’s Zoning Board of Appeals. He displays great organizational skills and strives to be honest and fair with each applicant while maintaining the integrity of local laws.
No matter whether Ken is acting as head of DMV, chairman of DeRuyter’s Zoning Board of Appeals or political leader, he puts his heart into it. He always has a genuine desire to be of assistance.
For those reasons I urge you to support Ken Kunkel for the 41st Madison County Clerk on Election Day, Nov. 3.
Becky Wightman
DeRuyter Town Clerk/Collector
