People in the Madison County community of Hamilton can help their less fortunate neighbors by participating in The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign — which gets under way in mid-November.
Individuals and groups — schools, churches, clubs, businesses — who would like to ring the bells can call the local coordinator: Jenn Servedio at 315-824-8291 in Hamilton. They may also call the Red Kettle Center toll free at 1-877-764-7259, or may go online to RedKettles.org and fill out the volunteer form.
Bellringing will start Thursday, November 19 and run from Thursday through Saturday every week during the holiday season — Thursdays and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The money raised in Madison County communities is used to provide local services.
