$99 Special Pays Dues through Dec. 31, 2011
Throughout the month of March, the New York Farm Bureau will be running a membership special for only $99. Sign-up today and membership will not expire until the end of 2011.
What is New York State Farm Bureau?
Ever since the first Farm Bureau was formed in Broome County in 1911, Farm Bureau has been a non-governmental, volunteer organization financed and controlled by member families. The main objectives of the Farm Bureau has been to educate the public about the importance of agriculture, to influence agricultural related state and federal policies, and to speak on behalf of farmers in various associations on statewide issues.
What programs are available for members?
As an organization that exists solely for the benefit of its members and industry; Farm Bureau has developed many opportunities and benefits for its members.
Farm family insurance offers a members-only savings of 3 percent on farm and 5 percent on auto insurance.
Through Farm Bureau’s policy development process, farmer-members have a voice in state and federal legislation. Farm Bureau legislative action has worked to save every farmer a lot of money.
Accidental death and dismemberment coverage is automatically a part of your membership, and membership provides eligibility for workers compensation insurance.
Discounts on a wide range of hotels are available nationwide, including a 20-percent discount at Choice Hotels nationwide.
Members receive a 10-percent discount on all Grainger orders, and free shipping if orders are submitted online.
Members also receive a free subscription to “Grassroots,” Farm Bureau’s award-winning publication and a free classified ad monthly, if needed.
One of the most important benefits to being a Farm Bureau member is supporting Farm Bureau and helping to strengthen rural New York and family farms of all sizes.
