(Hamilton) It was announced on Friday, August 28th, that through the office of the Partnership for Community Development (PCD), the Town of Hamilton was awarded a grant from the Office of Community Renewal’s New York State Trust Fund Corporation. The grant was in the amount of $400,000. The funds are to be used to implement a housing rehabilitation program in Hubbardsville, NY.
“This program will help correct many defects found in the housing of low and moderate income people in the target area” stated Roger Bauman, Managing Director of the PCD. As soon as permitted, public meetings will be held to inform the public about the program.
