Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum Announces Summer Hours

Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum is now open every day in July and August, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It is located at 7010 Lakeport Rd., Chittenango, on the old Erie Canal and includes exhibits on construction of 96 ft. long cargo boats, workings of the restored dry docks and social history of the canal era.

Bloodmobile Sponsors Needed

The Madison-Oneida Chapter of the American Red Cross is looking for businesses and organizations to sponsor bloodmobiles throughout Madison County.

Sponsors would recruit local blood donors from those who have previously donated. The sponsors also would provide volunteers for registration and canteen at the drives.
