Newspaper Staff Contributes to Community Action

Paper signing, food drive to be held Feb. 20 at Colgate Bookstore

(Hamilton, NY) Readers and collectors alike who missed receiving a copy of the inaugural edition of the Madison County Courier, will now have the opportunity to get one, signed by the publisher, editors and contributors of Madison County’s newest publication.

On Saturday, Feb. 20, from 1 to 3 p.m., the Colgate Bookstore will host a newspaper-signing by the staff of the Madison County Courier. The current issue will be on sale at the bookstore, as well as all their back issues. Newspapers sell for 75 cents each and a large portion of the proceeds will be donated to Madison County Community Action.

There will also be a food drive for the Hamilton Food Cupboard. Please bring non-perishables items to the signing and meet the staff.

Refreshments will be served.
