I recently sent Martha Conway an e-card wishing her a happy retirement. Glad to see that she is back and best of luck with the new Madison County Courier. I’m sort of a local news junkie. I like to read about what local people are doing in their little worlds. That has been missing for a long time in the Caz Republican. I hope that you put out a call for writers in all the towns and villes and hamlets and groups to comment on their doings. Also, please include the Erieville area in your reach. People like The Mid York and that paper doesn’t even consider us as part of their area of interest.Putting Madison County together in one newspaper is, I think, a great idea. I liked The Route 20 Pulse, but that went to far to the east of us in its focus. My neighbors don’t read The Republican. Something about seeing weddings in Skaneateles and Garage Sales in Jordan was, among other foreign news, a real turn off. Getting wordy here. Good luck.
