An art sale to benefit the New Woodstock Free library will continue through November in the program room at the library, 2106 Main Street (Route 13) New Woodstock.
More than 26 works by local artists are in the sale, including prints of work by Gordon Muck, and Nancy Edwards, and originals by Jim Ridlon, Roger DeMuth, Barbara Kellogg and many others. The sale also includes wood sculpture by David Harper and jewelry by Peggy Van Arnam.
The works represent a variety of media, including watercolor, photography and acrylic. All of the originals pictures are matted and framed. Purchases may be made any time the library is open. The exhibit of art is free and open to the public.
The library is open Monday through Friday 1 to 5 p.m., Monday and Wednesday evenings 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The library is also open whenever the library flags are displayed out front.
