My name is Julie Brown. I am the Membership Vice President in charge of public relations for the MOMS Club of Cazenovia. We are part of an international non-profit support group for stay-at-home-moms. The name MOMS Club stands for Moms Offering Moms Support, and it does just that for moms who have made the difficult decision to stay at home to rear their children.
Recently, our club donated the proceeds from September’s chapter garage sale fundraiser to benefit the New Woodstock Library’s Playground Fund. The presentation was done at the New Woodstock Library’s story hour on Tuesday October 13th. Our club Assistant Vice President who is in charge of this service project, Crystal Dwyer, presented the $200 check to Kelly Roberts (the Children’s Events Coordinator for the NW Library).
The MOMS Club is an international support group for moms staying home with their kids, and the Cazenovia Chapter welcomes new members from Cazenovia and the surrounding areas.
The New Woodstock Playground Project is one of the service projects that the MOMS club is committing itself to this year.
The chapter will be holding a spring sale to benefit the playground fund (time, date and place TBA). Any inquiries about the club can be directed to themomsclubofcaz@yahoo.com.
Cordially,
Julie Brown, MVP, The MOMS Club of Cazenovia
