On Friday, November 6, St Peter’s Church will hold an Evensong service at 6 PM followed by a dinner.
Evensong, derived from historic church traditions, stems from the “Evening prayer service” which includes sacred music as well as spoken prayer.
The supper, which will follow the service at approximately 6:30 PM, will feature locally raised food, including braised beef brisket, winter squash, salad and apple crisp for dessert.
This special event is open to all. Please join us for the worship, the dinner, or both and bring a friend. The dinner will cost $6/person.
Reservations for dinner are required and can be made by contacting Diane Clark by email at dkrkclark@windstream.net or by phone at 655-2308.
Please bring your own table servings and beverage of choice.
