The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Foundation is pleased to announce an upcoming event, ‘A Night Out in Syracuse.’
“This occasion will be a night for everyone to relax and have some fun while benefiting a cause that has affected so many of us” says event chair T. J. DiPeso, a Cazenovia native.
He has organized the event in loving memory of family member Robin Meigs.
The event, sponsored by Budweiser, Century Decorating, and Best Buy will be held at the State Fairgrounds International Building on Saturday, August 1st, 2009. This formal event will run from 4pm to midnight. Tickets are $35 presale and $50 at the door. This low price includes a buffet dinner, open bar, music, raffles, and even a ‘Wise Guys’ comedy show.
Tickets for ‘A Night Out in Syracuse’ will be sold at www.prodigy-poker.com/charityevent. You can also purchase tickets at Shoppingtown Mall on July 12th, 19th and 26th. They will be sold from 12pm-5pm next to Bath and Body Works. In Cazenovia they will be sold at Albert’s restaurant on Saturday July 18th and 25th from 10am-3pm.
The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund, Inc supports both new and established researchers investigating the causes, prevention and treatment of breast cancer. This research will include—but not be limited to—studies of the genetic, molecular, cellular and environmental factors involved in the development and progression of breast cancer; application of the knowledge thus gained to educate medical professionals and increase public awareness for the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer; and studies of the outcomes of breast cancer detection and treatment on the patient, their families and society.
