The Earlville Opera House is pleased to be showcasing some of the finest young talent in the region at its Youth Showcase of Singer-Songwriters on Saturday, November 7th at 8 pm at the Palace Theater in Hamilton. Come for a fast-paced evening where you will hear two original songs from each songwriter or songwriting team. Vote for your favorites and help decide who will go home with the grand prize!
The showcase is sponsored by Orbital Sound who will be donating the grand prize of a professional four-song recording demo package valued at over $650. Big Apple Music is also sponsoring the showcase with three gift certificates of $100, $75, and $50 values. We’d like to thank all the songwriters for their submissions and wish there was time to showcase everyone!

JUDGING THE SHOWCASE will be a challenge but we hope our judges will be up to it! We are recruiting 3 judges for the event. Previous showcase winner, Zach Collins has agreed to be one of the 4 judges. Their scores will be 85% of the performance score. The final 15% will be crowd enthusiasm, which will be measured by a decibel meter. The decibel measurements will be taken at the end of the evening after all performances are finished. The judging will also be tallied at the end of the show. We ask that all the performers and the audience please be supportive of all of their fellow musicians.
There will be an admission charge for the event of $4 for youth and $5 for adults. All proceeds will benefit EOH youth programs. Performers will have free admission. EOH will also be sponsoring free tickets through the Madison Community Action Partnership. For more information, call the Earlville Opera House at 315-691-3550. The Palace Theater is on Utica Street in Hamilton, NY.
