(Town of Lincoln, Oct. 15, 2009) Madison County Sheriff’s Deputies are continuing their investigation into a serious two vehicle crash that occurred at about 7:30 PM last evening on the Oxbow Road in the Town of Lincoln.
According to Madison County Undersheriff Doug Bailey, a Dodge Neon operated by Anthony V. Jayson, age 41, 202 Wilson Street, Canastota, New York was travelling in a southerly direction, uphill and rounding a curve on the Oxbow Road when he lost control of his car, crossed into the southbound lane and slid sideways into the path of a northbound mini-van.
The driver’s side of the Jayson vehicle was struck by the Miller van. Both vehicles were destroyed.
The mini-van was operated by Marianne Miller age 54, 216 North Court Street, Wampsville, New York. Jessica Miller, a sixteen year old daughter of Miller, was a front seat passenger. Both members of the Miller family received minor injuries but declined medical attention at the scene.
