CANASTOTA – Ride for Life Equine and Family Center, Inc., 7762 North Court Street, is offering Harvest Horse Rides on Friday evenings from 4-8 p.m. through October 30.
The Christian-based therapeutic horseback riding organization is a Canastota Community participant owned and operated by Rick and Sandy Carrier of Canastota as a non-profit community outreach ministering to all ages from pre-school to senior citizens.
Individuals and families may take a late afternoon or early evening guided horseback ride around the .8 mile lighted arena and sensory trail, which provides a unique multi-sensory experience in a pleasant outdoor pond and pasture setting, at a cost of $5 per person.
In addition, there are other fall items available for purchase. These include mums for $6, pumpkins for $4-6, and corn stalk bundles for $6.
