Compassion Connection to give away 200 Turkeys

(Canastota, NY) On Saturday November 14, 2009 from 10:00am – 12:01pm, The CNY Compassion Connection, Inc. will be giving away 200 FREE turkeys to its current membership, while supplies last.

CNY Compassion Connection Food Pantry is quickly approaching its fifth year of serving Madison County and Central New York. In that time the service level has grown from 27 families to over 150 families receiving food each month.

During a recent fund raising event a local business person pledged to donate 200 turkeys to the Food Pantry. This Saturday, November 14th from 10:00am to 12:01pm the staff personnel from CNY Compassion Connection and the donor company will be giving the turkeys away.

The location is: CNY Compassion Connection, 2657 Seneca Turnpike, Canastota, NY 13032 (Next to Believers’ Chapel). To receive a free turkey people must bring their current membership card.
