(November 8, 2009) Madison County Undersheriff Doug Bailey reports that Anthony V. Jayson, age 41, 202 Wilson Street, Canastota, New York has died of his injuries he sustained in an October 14th car crash on the Oxbow Road in the Town of Lincoln.
Jayson has been in critical condition since the crash in a Syracuse Hospital with serious head trauma. According to the Onondaga County Medical Examiners Office, Jayson died on Friday, November 6th.
At the time of the October 14th crash, Jayson was operating a Dodge Neon in a southerly direction on the Oxbow Road, travelling uphill and rounding a curve, when his car crossed into the northbound lane and was struck in the driver’s side by a northbound min-van operated by Marianne Miller, age 54, 216 North Court Street, Wampsville, New York.
No charges have been placed against Miller.
