Police investigated a report of animal cruelty on Hawthorne Way. The investigation continues.

Feb. 7

Police investigated a report of stole 55-gallon drums on Genesee Street.

Feb. 8

Amy Atkinson was charged with issuing a bad check with knowledge of insufficient funds, a class B misdemeanor.

Michael B. Dunster was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor, and speeding.

Police investigated a complaint of larceny at Kinney Drug Store on Genesee Street. Three 16GB PNY Attache flash drives, four 4GB PNY Attache flash drives, a Casio men’s watch, eight VS Sports men’s watches and eight VS Sports women’s watches were reported stolen. The merchandised was valued at a little more than $650. Police secured a video tape of the suspects. The investigation continues.

Feb. 10

Police investigated a complaint of stolen methadone pills.

Michael B. Dunster, 45, of Clockville Road, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding after a traffic stop for traveling 45 mph in a 30-mph zone.

Feb. 11

Officer William Hohl charged David R. Wilber with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license after a traffic stop for driving on the shoulder of the road (north side of Route 5). Wilber is scheduled to appear in village court Feb. 22.
